Residential UWC

Living on campus is a significant part of the UWC experience for many UWC students.

Students learn about different cultures and develop an appreciation of international diversity by living and studying with each other. Teachers also live on campus. They play an important role in pastoral care.

It is important that students have an open mind, respect each other, want to cooperate with others, and act honestly and responsibly. The nine UWC schools which only offer the pre-university IB programme are all fully residential. All pupils live on campus.

The Simón Bolívar UWC of Agriculture is also a fully residential school. The three UWC schools which offer the IB as part of a broader curriculum (for more age categories) have both day pupils and boarders. You can find further information about campus life at each school on the UWC colleges section of this website.
