Selection based on merites

Students are selected to UWC Colleges and courses on the basis of motivation and merit alone. Social, ethnic and religious background, and ability to pay are not considered during the selection process.

For the Colleges

Every year approximately 25 pupils are selected by UWC-NL to represent their country at the various UWC schools.

Finance and scholarships

Parents’ financial standing plays no role in the selection process. UWC-NL provides scholarships.
